Lagu Baru Robert Plant
Legenda Rock Robert Plant terus berani mengeksplorasi pada kombinasi musik baru 'Angel Dance,' memimpin single dari album mendatang 'Band of Joy. " Lagu ini sedikit, dan penuh kasih, diatur kembali versi dari Los Lobos berangan dari 1990.
Mantan penyanyi kreatif gelisah Led Zeppelin telah dipasang memimpin sebuah band baru yang mengesankan di bawah 'Band of moniker Joy' untuk album, termasuk gitaris Buddy Miller dan bintang solo Americana bawah tanah Patty Griffin.

Led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin adalah kelompok musik rock dari Inggris yang dibentuk bulan September 1968, dan dibubarkan setelah pemain drum John Bonham meninggal. Led Zeppelin terdiri dari Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, dan John Bonham. Dengan musiknya yang menonjolkan suara gitar yang keras dan berat, Led Zeppelin dianggap sebagai salah satu band heavy metal yang pertama.[1][2] Sebagian besar lagu-lagu mereka merupakan interpretasi musik blues dan folk yang diberi nuansa rock, termasuk rockabilly,[3] reggae,[4] soul, [5]funk, jazz,[6] musik klasik, musik Kelt, musik India, musik Arab, musik pop, musik Amerika Latin, dan musik country.
Led Zeppelin tidak pernah merilis singel dari lagu-lagunya yang menjadi populer di Britania Raya. Alasannya, mereka lebih menyukai konsep musik rock berorientasi album.[7]
Setelah 25 tahun bubar akibat meninggalnya John Bonham pada tahun 1980, Led Zeppelin tetap disanjung penggemar musik berkat pencapaian artistik, kesuksesan komersial, dan pengaruhnya yang luas di kalangan musisi rock. Hingga saat ini, album Led Zeppelin telah laku lebih dari 300 juta keping,[8] di antaranya, 109,5 juta keping laku di Amerika Serikat,[9] dan menjadi satu-satunya grup musik yang berhasil menempatkan semua albumnya ke dalam urutan Top 10 tangga album Billboard.[10] Selain itu, Led Zeppelin menempati urutan nomor satu dalam Daftar 100 Artis Hard Rock Terbesar (100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock) versi VH1.[11]

Jimmy Page Rilis Perangko Led Zeppelin
GITARIS grup rock legendaris Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Page baru saja me-launching perangko seri cover album klasik Led Zeppelin IV, perangko yang dicetak ribuan lembar ini untuk mengisi koleksi perangko The Royal Mail Inggris. Peluncuran perangko ini juga dalam rangka memperingati ulangtahun Led Zeppelin ke 40 Januari 2010 lalu.
Alasan pemuatan cover album Led Zepplein IV (dirilis 1971) dianggap monumental karena Jimmy Page pernah ikut mendesain cover itu, juga di dalam album itu berisi nomor lagu paling laris di dunia yakni "Stairway to Heaven" yang terjual 32 juta kopi.
Lagu yang menampilkan permainan gitar Jimmy Page ini, dianggap banyak mengilhami musisi lain di dunia untuk berkarya dengan format aransemen serupa, sehingga warna slow rock tampak kental. Meski "Stairway to Heaven" tidak juga bisa disebut rock ballad, karena di bagian tengah lagu ini menampilkan efek distorsi gitar Page, juga eksplorasi vokal Robert Plant di oktaf yang tidak lazim. Di masanya, Robert Plant memiliki jangkauan sampai 4 oktaf.
Oleh pemerintah Inggris, peluncuran perangko seri cover album Led Zeppelin ini akan mengisi koleksi kantor pos di Inggris dan sebagai apresiasi atas kiprah super grup yang lahir dan besar di Inggris ini. Sayang grup ini bubar semenjak John Bonhamm drumer mereka meninggal karena narkoba. "Kalaupun Led Zeppelin pernah konser reuni di O2 London Desember 2007 lalu, bukan berarti kami berkumpul, karena kami butuh lebih banyak introspeksi," kata Robert Plant.
Led Zeppelin pernah berjaya dengan formasi Robert Plant (vokal), Jimmy Page (gitar), John-Paul Jones (bas) dan John Bonhamm (drum).
